If you love to puzzle and want to show off your skills (and maybe win some cool prizes!), we want to invite you to our next Speed Puzzling Competition!
We are proud to have hosted two competitions here in Nanton that were a huge success! And each year just gets bigger and better, so you won’t want to miss out on our next one!
Every thing you’ll need to know!
How does it work?
Register in either our Individual/Pair division or rally your friends for our Team division. You (and your team) won’t see your puzzle until the timer begins, and then you’ll have a set amount of time to complete your puzzle.
Winners are determined by who completes their puzzle first or by who has the most amount of their puzzle completed when the timer goes off, which ever happens first. So start practicing now!
How do I register?
You can register in store during our regular hours of operation, or give us a call! We always post on our social media pages when registration is open, so be sure to follow us so you don’t miss out!
Be sure to pay your competitor fee to secure your spot as soon as possible!
What kind of prizes are there?
For our past events, we have awarded a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prize for each division.
Prizes vary each year, and are customized for each division. In the past, we’ve also offered door prizes for all contestants!
What type of puzzles will we be doing?
The piece count depends on what division you are in!
In the past, the Individual/Pair division has done a 350 piece puzzle and the Team division has done a 500 piece puzzle. All puzzles used are puzzles that qualify to be used in sanctioned and professional speed puzzling events!
What else is there to do at the competition?
At our past events, we have also offered one-day-only sales on puzzles for our competitors and spectators!
We have also offered a small concession with snacks and drinks, game demos, and spectator puzzles that everyone can work on together!
Is there entertainment?
For both events thus far, we have been so fortunate to have DJ Pauline Higgins MC and keep us grooving with a custom mix of music to listen to while you complete your puzzle!
